Resident Writes History of Swedesboro
Lois M. Stanley, a former Kingsway teacher and long-time local resident and Russell C. Shiveler, Jr., a descendent of one of the area farming families, have co-authored, with the Swedesboro-Woolwich Historical Society, a book on the History of Swedesboro and Woolwich Township.
The book, published by Arcadia Publishing, is on sale now $21.99 plus S&H (if mailed) and can be purchased by calling Lois Stanley at 856-467-1889 or contacting the Historical Society.
All books purchased either of these ways will benefit the Swedesboro Woolwich Historical Society.
Books ordered through Mrs. Stanley can be personalized (signed by the authors).
The book is also available at major book store chains and some shops around town. Purchasing at alternate locations does not benefit the historical society.
