The Swedesboro-Woolwich Historical Society provides educational and cultural events throughout the year. Talks and demonstrations are given at regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year.
The goal of the Society is to obtain and preserve the history of the Borough and surrounding township. To meet this end, the society collects and archives artifacts, photos, family histories, documents, books, and items which help to keep alive Swedesboro's history.
The Historical Society supports local events by providing a booth at the annual Outdoor Living and Garden Show in May and Swedesboro-Woolwich Day in September. Stop by the booth to learn more our society, local history or buy one of our historical souvenirs.
